We can't thank our Stony Point businesses, officials, friends and neighbors enough for their generous contributions to help us pull off the greatest Christmas season in FUMC's 190 year history.
If you visit any of our sponsor businesses or friends this holiday, please say "thank you" to them for supporting FUMC; we - and they - will greatly appreciate it.
If you'd like to make a Christmas contribution to FUMC, or give a Christmas tribute in honor or memory of a loved one, please visit our online giving site to make a donation.
Proudly presented by Emerald Retirement, during our short ceremony we’ll sing a couple carols, hear our Sunday School bell choir, and countdown “3-2-1” style to light our church inside and out. In addition to our exterior lights, you’ll be amazed at our sanctuary filled with lights – straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie – and will experience our basement transformed into a tribute to the Bear Mountain Inn Christmas Festival – with Santa’s Workshop, trains, gingerbread houses and more. Supervisor Jim Monaghan and several other “dignitaries” will be in attendance for the event, and refreshments will be served.
A new Stony Point tradition, watch our children "ride" up 9W in our fully-lit and decorated truck bed, sharing the true meaning of Christmas.
Once again, the kids take center stage for the annual Christmas Play. But what happens when the Sunday School staff just doesn't have the energy to do it this year? Join us to find out as the kids take you through a journey of "Christmas from A to Z." And as always, we’ll have a pizza party after the play.
The amazingly-talented Marilyn Marino of Immaculate Conception Church is back as our guest organist and pianist playing 25 of the most popular Christmas songs and hymns. Those who came last year raved about the night, and you’ll love it too. Cookies, coffee and light refreshments will be served afterwards in the “Bear Mountain Inn.”
Walk into church on Christmas Eve and walk out on Christmas Day. It’s always our most special service of the year.
