In December 1981, the always-faithful Craft Group, then comprised of Ella Bender, Fannie Blanche, Kathy Daily, Virginia Houghton, Jean O’Dell, Kathleen O’Dell, Shirley O’Dell, Jeanette Strassburg, Dianne Thaler and Eleanor Waldron, compiled FUMC’s first cookbook featuring wonderful recipes by church members past and “present.” The 164-page book contains 246 recipes shared by 75 members and friends of FUMC.
